DeYoung Application for CPA Membership

Stephen and Emily DeYoung have moved into their home on Indian Pipe Circle and are applying for membership in CPA. They are sponsored by Dick Muzzy and Rick and Linda Brown. There will be a 45-day period during which CPA Members can comment to the Board regarding the application. After that time the Board will vote on the application. Stephen has provided the following information about the family:

Emily and Stephen DeYoung are originally from Kalamazoo. Stephen works at his family business, Air Flow Equipment, Inc. in Kalamazoo, MI. He graduated from Miami University with a degree in business and business law. Stephen has spent his summers in Macatawa boating since childhood and has been familiar with Castle Park for years. Emily has her own kitchen and bath design business, Spaces by DeYoung. She is a graduate of Michigan State University where she studied interior design and communications. They are parents to Beckett (7) and Greyson (5). They love everything Lake Michigan, and enjoy the wonderful summers being on the water or at the beach and spending winters up north skiing. Traveling is a shared passion amongst the family.

Lisa Mathews is Emily’s mom. She will be living with the DeYoungs most of the time. Lisa works at Movement.org a not-for-profit organization that works with Christian leaders around the world. She is a graduate of Bethel University in Mishawaka, IN where she studied Organizational Development. Lisa lost her husband Todd in 2017. She has resided on the south side of Holland since 2006. She loves travel, reading and entertaining.
