Indian Pipe Association and Dogs!

Happy summer Castle Parkers!
According to the Indian Pipe Association By Laws, dogs must be on a leash at all times throughout the year (not just summer months) or contained by an electric fence. This is also consistent with the Rules and Regulations of the Castle Park Association. Indian Pipe however is different from Castle Park in that 1) Indian Pipe Circle is a “private road” and not public and 2) the land inside our fence is “private” and owned by the surrounding lot owners, not by the CP Association.

Regardless, the Indian Pipe Association and property owners are happy to have Castle Parkers use Indian Pipe Circle for walking, jogging, biking and other forms of quiet recreation with the understanding that the Rules and Regulations are being followed. All are welcome to walk their dogs as long as they are on a leash. Of course you are also expected to “ pick up” after your dogs…in other words carry a poop bag.

Another important note: you may see Indian Pipe dogs that appear to be off the leash in the open field. This is not a signal that your dogs, or anyone else’s dogs, can be taken off the leash. The dogs that you might see are controlled by electric fences within the boundaries of their owner’s property, which are contained within the open field.

Thank you for your understanding and consideration!
