Reminder from the Whitbeck’s: Audubon Road Wall Repair this Week
On Tuesday, June 27, our contractor will repair our wall at 6655 Audubon, as set out in our permit from the Allegan County Road Commission. At no time will Audubon be shut down. Rather, the contractor will close the inbound lane around the curve into Castle Park leaving the outbound lane open for ingress and egress to Castle Park with flagmen at each end to control traffic. Other than the repair area, including the roadway leading directly to the that area, no other part of Audubon will be affected.
At our direction, the contractor will place paramount importance on the safety of vehicular and pedestrian traffic, particularly children, entering and leaving Castle Park. We ask that if you will be driving into or out of Castle Park during this period you do so with caution and follow the direction of the flagmen, so as to insure not only your own safety but the safety of all others including the workmen. If you have children under your control during this period, we ask that you keep them away from the repair site.
