Sligh Membership Application

Rob and Jorie Sligh, 6691 Indian Pipe Circle, have applied for membership in the Castle Park Association, sponsored by Mark and Cindy Fuller, and Dick and Susan Muzzy.

As required by our Bylaws and prior to the Board voting on the application, we will have a short, 45-day, period during which members may comment on the application by sending an email to castleparkboard@gmail.com or to Beverly Burns at burns@millercanfield.com. Family information as submitted by Rob and Jorie speaks to a long history of involvement at Castle Park. Rob grew up along the south shore of Lake Macatawa where the family’s Sligh Water Ski School was located, and came to Castle Park for Play Class and tennis lessons. He had a long career in the family’s Sligh Furniture and Clock manufacturing business, and in his encore years has served on family business boards and in the Family Business Consulting Group. Jorie, who worked as a sales representative for Brite Music and DK Books, is currently the US agent for Spanish Riding School Bereiters, and a yoga instructor. They’re parents to four children–Jim, Leslie, Laura and Jack–and two grandchildren, Hadley and Parker.

Rob and Jorie, who have been summer renters in the Park since 2014, have been provided copies of the Association’s Bylaws and its Rules and Regulations, and agree to abide by them.
