Winter Family Membership Applicaton

Mark and Karen Winter, have recently completed the build of their new cottage and have applied for membership in the Castle Park Association. They are sponsored by Steve Nobel, and Bob Burton.
As required by our Bylaws and prior to the Board voting on the application, there is a 45 day wait period to allow members to comment on the application by sending an email to Joy Fossel at efossel@grand-rapids.mi.us
The following is information from their bio that they shared with us:
It has been our lifelong dream to own property in Michigan. Our vision was to provide a place for our daughters and their future families to gather and enjoy for many years to come. In July of 2018, during an extended weekend, we started our search, visiting 80 properties throughout SW Michigan. The property we purchased in Castle Park was discovered on our last day, and we immediately fell in love with the land, surrounding homes and the Castle! While constructing our home, we have met many Castle Park families and have found them all incredibly friendly and welcoming. We eagerly anticipate becoming part of this exceptional community.
About our family Karen and Mark are from Glen Ellyn, IL. They met in college, both earning degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University. Mark continued his graduate studies and holds an MBA from DePaul University and is currently the President of Morrison Construction Company. Karen took time off from her career to raise the girls and is currently the technical director of the theatre department at our local high school in addition to being an administrator at a local private music school.
Karen and Mark have four daughters: Madeleine, 27, a mental health therapist, Gabrielle (Gabi), 25, a middle school music teacher, Juliette, 22, a soon to be graduate with a degree in Exercise Science from the University of Vermont, and Vivienne, 19, a freshman majoring in Art Education at the University of Iowa.
